Schick Toikka Book

Merged Contours is a retrospective book by German-Finnish type foundry Schick Toikka, marking five years of typeface design. Nine designers, illustrators, and artists were invited to create personal interpretations of the foundry’s typefaces. Deutsche & Japaner developed both the concept and design of the book, and contributed the chapter dedicated to Trio Grotesk. The cover translates the title literally: text shifted across front, spine, and back until the boundaries of the book dissolve.
