Absolute New York

Absolute New York is photographer Horst Hamann’s declaration of love for his chosen home, four decades of work distilled into 400 pages and more than 300 photographs. The cover carries only the acronym ANY, taken directly from a handwritten note by Hamann himself, in which the word appeared. Without knowing it, he had already designed the cover.
