Chairman Book
Chairman is a book about German product designer Thomas Schnur, published by Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König. As a self-proclaimed “chairman” in both senses of the word, Schnur designs chairs and furniture that address ecological, economic, and social challenges. The book is approached as a working space in itself, conceptual, process-oriented, unpolished yet structured, mirroring Schnur’s own design practice. It traces his process with sketches, photos, and drawings, images precisely aligned to an axis. The cover features the introductory text, a quiet contrast to the image-rich inside.
