Gallery New York is photographer Horst Hamann’s deeply personal tribute to a 40-year journey between New York and his hometown Mannheim. The visual identity is carried entirely by typography: a custom typeface and a logotype drawn from a very personal source, a letter scrawled by Hamann’s son. Here is New York — not a place, but a state of mind.
